San Diego’s Jason Hughes Chooses Featured Original Artwork

Original artwork adorns the walls of Jason Hughes’ Hughes Marino San Diego headquarters. Hughes Marino’s various locations, including its San Diego headquarters, are known for featuring a bevy of interesting artwork. Jason Hughes’ San Francisco office offers a framed print of “Party Time at the Parker” by world-renowned photographer Gray Malin. The whimsical piece is part of his iconic series Gray Malin at the Parker. The photograph features an elephant walking down a path of bushes adorned with colorful balloons. The office also offers artistic wonders such as a gigantic Ghirardelli chocolate square by Gary Polonsky, an artist born and raised in Los Angeles who has sold his artwork in San Diego and attended Santa Monica College. His 3D painting has also spawned other whimsical artworks such as giant candy bars and cupcakes. Jason Hughes’ San Diego headquarters boasts a state-of-the-art gym with showers, Taylor guitars, 80-inch high-definition televisions, and multiple media rooms. Jason Hughes is also a fan of Smashtech, a San Diego-based marketing company with a one-of-a-kind office adorned with 25-foot graffiti murals by Marc Sandoval and a video game lounge. Influenced by the music and rock ’n’ roll lifestyle of the ’60s and ’70s, Sandoval’s work has also appeared at Molotov Gallery in San Diego. Gallery walls can and should adorn anyone’s office space, according to Jason Hughes. It begins with choosing a theme and a color scheme. “Frame your ideas,” Jason Hughes said. “While there are many different frames to choose from, there is even more artwork. You can combine black, white, and gold frames or choose different colors. Whatever you choose, be sure it reflects the tone of your brand.”
