Beartooth Highway
Stretching through Montana and Wyoming, journalist Charles Kuralt called this road “the most beautiful drive in America.” It’s the highest elevation for a paved road in the Rocky Mountains, offering a remote trip and one smooth ride thanks to the almost untouched asphalt.
Heavy snowfall and freezing rains keep Beartooth Highway closed for a good portion of the year, but you can take the journey from opening day in Spring through the Fall. As you wind through its majestic turns, you’ll be overlooking the Rocky Mountains themselves in all their natural glory.
Blue Ridge Parkway
With almost 500 miles of road and a beginner difficulty level, Blue Ridge Parkway is one America’s favorite drives. You’ll start near Shenandoah National Park and end in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which means nature scenes accompany you all the way.

Tail of the Dragon
You’ll find this eleven-mile stretch in Tennessee. While the road might be short, it’s considered one of the most challenging in the US. There 318 devilish curves packed into this road, with many sharp enough to leave inexperienced riders in the hospital. This is considered the ultimate challenge by many riders. State Route 1
A favorite of both cyclists and drivers, State Route 1 traces California’s coastline. Also known as the Pacific Coast Highway, your ride comes complete with magnificent ocean views as you wind through cliffsides and mountaintops.
