Bitcoin Car of the Week: Land Rover Range Rover Sport

So you want to buy a car with Bitcoin, do you? Enjoying meteoric popularity in today’s outdoors-driven culture, the Range Rover Sport combines luxury and comfort into a solid package with an unbeatable price tag. Coming from a long line of powerful and accessible sports utility vehicles, does the Range Rover Sport live up to the reputation offered by past models?

Closer Look at the Range Rover Sport

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is often shortened to ‘Range Rover Sport’. A mid-size SUV imbued with luxury, the Range Rover Sport was developed under the guidance of the British manufacturer legends at Land Rover. Originally unleashed in 2005, the Sport line of the vehicle would not come to market until 2013. The Land Rover Range Rover Sport released in 2021 was designed by Gerry McGovern, a professional car designer credited with designing the Land Rover Freelander, Discovery Sport, and Range Rover Sport.

An Engine That Roars

Right off the lot, the 2021 Range Rover Sport will come delivered with the AWD system that Land Rover enthusiasts have gotten used to. The mid-sized luxury SUV continues to handle well on the road thanks to its eight-speed automatic transmission and pristine all-wheel drive. Currently, the 2021 Range Rover Sport is available with four different engine options: diesel, hybrid (plug-in), supercharged V8, and mild hybrid. While the diesel-powered versions of the vehicle attain better mileage, they aren’t quite as quick as the hybrid models and struggle in comparison.

Fuel and Battery Information

The mild-hybrid version of the Range Rover Sport charges through a plug-in attachment. To take proper advantage of the fuel-saving feature, make sure to plug in the vehicle with frequency. The P400e is a battery pack located beneath the rear cargo floor, capable of charging fully on a 120-volt outlet. A 240-volt outlet can charge the vehicle faster, though both options work.

With a range of engine options available, it isn’t going to be easy to give a perfect estimate of the vehicle’s fuel economy. With that being said, the Diesel model is rated for 22 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. EPA estimates that the all-electric version of the vehicle allows for a range of 19 miles on a full charge.

Interior Comfort

Before you head out to buy Land Rover with Bitcoin earnings, take a moment to learn about the interior features of the vehicle. Within the 2021 Range Rover Sport, passengers will find extensive rear-seat space that quickly outstrips competitors in a similar price range. Two rows of seats give way to a kid-friendly seat in the back row, bringing up the seating capacity to seven. The third row of seating is NOT available in the plug-in hybrid model Land Rover Range Rover Sport.

Firm front seats and rear-fitted air conditioning fans allow for comfort on even the longest of drives. Soft surfaces lead to comfortable controls that feel as expensive as they look. With the second row of seats folded flat, Rover owners can enjoy up to 59 cubic feet of spare space.
